Here is Levi with his asian carp. The funny thing about this fish is a couple of older ladies were fishing next to us. When they saw the fish they asked if they could have it. With a big grin he said ok, Because they were driving a little car and we all ...

I shot this fish and handed the line over to Mckel. The line wrapped around his wrist and he all most swam with the fish!

With a little help from Rod, everything worked out.

Some more pic's.

Some people have seen these, but I wanted an excuse to figure out how to post a pic here.

This is my friends bowfishing setup (actually the pics are of two of my buddys setups - they look almost identical)... generators run the lights (night bowfishing is a blast) each 55 gallon barrel of carp weighs between 400-450 lbs. What a good time!!

After watching Jeff bowfish for the past couple of years...I gotta try it! I got the new Hoyt AlphaMax set up (finally!) and headed to Bass Pro this morning to get a rig. Definitely gonna tip the arrows with Innerloc! We're going at night and should have a great time. Taking the new XHA1s camera too so we'll see what kind of video I get.

Keeping in tune

The end of each archery season always seems to leave many of us with the “what if syndrome”. What if, I let him take one more step? What if, I made a better shot placement? The one which haunted me in the past. What if I took the shot? The list goes on and on. Ending the season with mixed emotions on our own performance. Possibly leaving doubt going in to the next season.

I guess I am a self proclaimed bowfishing guru. I got started as an early teen and fell head over heals in love. Any sport that takes in every aspect of the things I love has to be awesome. It has fishing, hunting, archery, stalking and family time all rolled into one glorious package. anyone can do it. Its not that expensive to get started. All you need s a second hand bow from any pawn shop orarchery shop. Recurves offer a bit more ofa chance as you have no specific draw. You need not reach the ...
