Hey Willy, I don't know if you remember helping me out with a winter feed to help this deer through after last season but my gut feeling is that it worked. Either way thanks for the advise. I'm not sure if this is the same deer but I really want to think it is. What do you all think?

This first guy is the reason I havent tagged yet in Kansas. I have had a severe case of tunnel vision after seeing this guy the first morning of my hunt last week. More to the story, but that will have to wait till I kill him.

I figure with his tine length and spread he will probably gross somewhere around 200" !!!

Oh wait, I mean 20" gross, 18" net!

Glad this guy wasn't a monster cause I woulda been PEED!!! He sure does have some pretty markings on him though.

On a side note, I'm kinda excited about these pics from a different camera too... I threw this cam up on my way out of the stand on Sunday just hoping I'd get a few pics on the trail. I obviously put it too low but I did get a pic of my 8 pointer and he is heading towards the area I thought he was bedding in at 5 in the morning. The scrape pics are early in the morning as well and not too far from the same spot. ...

Been running a couple cams on field edges taking inventory of what's roaming inside. Keep finding new ones. This is the type of 3 1/2 yr old you'd love to see get at least another yr under his belt.

Another 3 1/2, got his sheds lastyr, will likely never be a big scorer, but with some age he could be massy.

Not a big but but nice pics I thought.

The first one is a brute! Big, heavy eight point!

Here is another of him!

Then here is a beautiful nine point!

And another of the big nine!

Got this pic in a gateway between a corn field and bean field.

Here he is now working a scrape. Minus the velvet and a little bit of the main beam. I am going to give this deer a pass this year. After going over multiple pics of this deer I am thinking he is a deer we call hermit. Just need a couple more angles of him.

Here are two pics of hermit last year. Named this because of the crabclaw. What do you all think? Same deer? Pics are also all in the same general area.

First of, I'm sorry if I crash someones computer due to the number of pics.

First got pics of this guy in November 2008 and passed him a week after I first got pictures. I got tons of pics of him over the winter and into March, got a little video of him too, but still wasn't able to find his sheds. This summer, I managed to get pics of him somewhat early in velvet, and again got some video of him as his rack developed. I've gotten pics of him in 6 or 7 different spots on my land this ...

Forgive me for what may be a lengthy post. Been running some cams all fall, have found an awful lot of bucks I haven't seen, have seen others I haven't gotten a pic of. Still only one jawdropper seen so far yet no trail cam pics so far of him. Here's some of the bucks I'd bet are 3 1/2 or more.

I think this guy is older without much left up top.

Looks 3 1/2.

Decent little 3 1/2.

Nice 9, 4 1/2 at least.

Side view of wide load buck,..he's bigger than he looks I think.

Good looking 12pt with a split brow tine, good tine length and a sticker off his G2 - his G4 is hidden by his G3 on his right side... I've got several pictures of him too.

Another picture of the 12pt

He is a basic 8 with 12 scorable points and i would love to hear gueeses on score. He is a shooter for us regardless.

Second Buck is Goiter. I passed him in 2007. He had the same growth on his neck and was an 8 at that time.

Next buck we call the Devil Buck. He will be a stud next year if he makes it! LOL

This last buck has great potential. His face looks old but ...

I looked at all my buck pics from the last two years and can't find him anywhere I don't know where he came from or how old he is. I'm thinkin' he could be great in a year or two.

I hope we get some more pictures of him from side views because I would really like to judge his age from more than just his rack. I believe he is wide enough and his rack in general is pretty high but the tines are not overly long.

What's everyone's guess. I'll chime in with my opinion in a day or 2. I've got several other pictures of this guy from late summer and into early Sept but then he disappeared. His neck is starting to swell up a little and he's still hanging onto some velvet on his G3 and main beam too. And for the record I have a ground blind just to the right of the big tree on the right side of the picture.

A Couple Good Pics!

Here is a couple of good pics from the latest check from the camera. I still have not found any mature bucks yet. I know they are around somewhere! The first pic I like just because it is an action picture.

The next one is actually from this morning. I was hunting about a quarter mile from here. I am really curious about how old everyone thinks this deer is. He has a pretty big body.

caught the split g2 buck infront of a different camera for once.

from the body size i think this a fairly mature deer just aint been blessed with much up top. I think I'll save him for my cameraman/brother to take out of the herd

I've been waiting since last january to see this guy again...

now i'm only missing one deer from last year's hit list
