Product review !!
I had asked if anyone used a piece of equipement earlier. Well today I had some running to do and stopped at this rental shop to check it out. Then I decided to try it. I know this should be over on the foodplot section but figured it would be seen more here, so if you want to transfer it over there, no problem.
The piece is from Till-ease. I'll post some pics later. This piece has straight disc's up front, that really don't do a thing but slice straight lines in the dirt. Then on the back it has 6 forks that dig up the dirt. They cut a ine about 2-1/2 to 3 inches across and as deep as you set them. Then it kinda rolls the dirt over. Well I'm not very happy with it, yes it works a little but nothing like it would if it had regular disc's on the front or if they were mounted behind the forks. The cost for rental was $50 , not bad compared to the 125 another place wanted for the Plotmaster, but it could be better. I would NOT recommend this for anybody who would be breaking new ground, and only give a maybe for working ground that has already been worked ( such as mine ) to do a plot over again. I would tell somebody to buy a small set of disc's or better yet, a pull behind tiller.
