Very interesting  read  Dave, I am really shocked  in seeing how high some of these number's are  in  each state on   young  bucks  - wow  54  per buck in  Wis. were yearling's?????????  62 % in  N.J   no wander we see some many NJ  nR's in  our state-
They need to  add Il to this list as well Crying or Very sad

While this is interesting, I do have to wonder how they know what percentage of deer killed in PA are 1 1/2 years old. We don't have any check stations and I'm betting more than half of the people don't report their deer. Since they started the point restrictions, I'm sure that my area is not killing 50+% year and half olds. And who ever came up with the idea that having snow makes for a bad hunt? I don't find too much credibility in the link. I'd say someone was stretching to make a story.

Vic I said the two exact same things when I saw this "article" on twitter the other day. #1 Yeah, how do they know the yearling rate in PA? I know the author got it from the QDMA Whitetail Report, but I have trouble believing it, especially in my area where its a 4/side (3up) antler restriction. #2 This guys is kind of wussy and don't like to hunt in the snow.

Some of his choices didn't add up to me as well. Just thought it was an interesting read.
