Covert problems

Post  Boss Gobbler on Sun Nov 02, 2014 12:50 pm

I have had my cam out for two weeks staying out of my best spot until now. Pulled the cam yesterday and not one picture. So I hunted and watched several deer and turkey go past the cam, pulled it today not one pic. Has anyone had a covert just quit taking pics? I have to say its timing to quit is horrible. Evil or Very Mad

Boss have you  hit default setting's?  try that , and then go back and reprogram your camera.
And make sure it is not  a bad card issue Wink

They were the same cards I had been using all summer. I did try switching the cards and still no pics. Today I did the default deal, so I will have to wait a few days to see if that fixes it.

Boss have you reformatted your SD card

Format the SD card in your computer.  This resets the camera.  Many times, SD cards can lock up causing problems with the camera.  After you reformat the card it will erase all data from the card including what is problematic.  To format a card: place the card in your computer, go to "My Computer," right click on the folder the SD card is under, select "Format," and then hit "starts."

Not sure why they specifically mentioned formatting the SD card on the computer and not the cam itself but there must be a reason for it...I have only formatted the cards on the camera myself.

Thanks to Trailcam Pro for the info...
