I cry a little every time

Post  kyhunter123 on Sat Nov 15, 2014 3:17 pm

I watch this video... I just got back from Indiana and it was very slow. Until the last day. This was a afternoon hunt and i had a decent 8 come in to me grunting (I think). Then 20 minutes later i hear a grunt and i see this coming. It was one of those no question about it kinda deer. He came down to the creek. Drank water for about a minute and walked the only trail i couldnt shoot.... At 35 yards.... He would have been my biggest. But thats why they call it Hunting. Not killin! We counted 14 points. 2 Sticker things on each base and sticker on his G2... Sad

Its a short clip. But was the only part i have of him. It was to thick.

No need to cry. You were blessed with an awesome encounter. Beautiful buck. Holly and I had two or three encounters for her with a stud buck and it just wasn't meant to be.

We only get one buck tag and I already filled it. I got 2 extra doe tags but I haven't touched a rifle in years. Just don't seem like much of a challenge anymore to me. I try to avoid gun season. To many idiots out where I live. Lol
