I've got to ask... Has anyone on here ever tried one of these?

I'm sure this was probably talked about before and I missed it. It almost looks like it could work but when it moves it sure looks like it has some issues.

Iv seen pictures of them set up. And you seriously cannot see them. Iv never used one. But then again. I'm not a fan of hunting from the ground so I probably wouldn't use one lol

I'm curious how this thing would work for run and gun OR bow turkey hunting.

Vic
I love hunting on the ground above all!  HAHA I have not used them but have seriously looked into them.  My two concerns
 1) it seems like it might be noisy and I question sunlight reflection.
 2) its not very tall at all.  For a bowhunter its not very useful.  Unless they have made changes.  I'm pretty sure it was designed and made for a gun hunter.

I believe they may make extensions...but to me the extentions should be part of it sense the extensions are needed to conceal you fully.  It is a blind after all.  You should not have to pay extra for that. IMHO

Thats what kept me from going forward but that was a number of years ago.  Things may have changed.

I think it would only work in certain setups. Notice all the pics on the webpage are from a height higher than the blind (in order to reflect the surroundings right in front of the blind). A deer or turkey is much lower to the ground so if the blind is up hill and perpendicular with the ground it'll reflect sky or the tree canopy.  IMO it'll only work well if the outer walls are slanted slightly down or the game is on a high elevation looking down.

We hunt from the ground alot and Ive seriously looked at getting them a few times, but just seems risky like they could catch a sun reflection, or make noise or break a little easier. Should probably try one and see though, definitely a cool idea!
