Interesting reading Barb, I think most of those are fairly well known by a lot of hunters now. The one that sticks out to me is the lunar impact. I know many hunters who plan everything around the moon. Personally, I just haven't figured it out yet.

When I was a young hunter, I used to pay very close attention to the moon phases.  I was fanatical about it actually.  I gradually gave up on it as my hunting time was more determined by when I could hunt...I hunted when I had time off!  My opinion is that some deer, much like people, are more affected by the phase of the moon...crazy people seem to get crazier around a full moon.  
     Experience for me has proven that I see fewer big bucks around the full moon.  I simply feel that they spend more time roaming in the bright moonlight and rest more during the daytime.  That's my  theory anyway!
      I'm still not peeing off my treestand!
