Scrape cams?

Post  Boss Gobbler on Fri Oct 02, 2015 5:31 pm

I have a big fresh scrape that I want to put a cam over and take some video. How high do you hang the cam? I would think that it would be higher than normal. I had a cam over it all week, pulled the card today and nothing. I have had 3 cams go out on me this year. Evil or Very Mad  I guess I will be trying to buy one tonight.

Boss I just added one to  a  new  scrape tonight,  not liking   there was  not  really  a good  tree  close for set up.  And it was just an  older MP8 cam, so I am hoping  the distance will  trigger it,  As far as  height goes ,  I personally have never change  the   height, Anywhere between  the  belly button  and boob line works just fine Wink   Actually  sometime  I have to set a scrape  camera lower  so the over hanging  branch  does not   false trigger it, And  Windy day's  suck for scrape camera's  sometimes.
Wink

Well so far the scrape cam is more of a turkey tracker. Evil or Very Mad  Had one new buck and a doe on it. The field in the back ground is one of the winter wheat fields I just planted. I dont know how it is sprouting with as much seed as the turkeys have ate. Evil or Very Mad
