Little ole Stealth Outdoors will be there Booth 1104, 1106, and 1108.

We have a some good friends in WI and will be sharing 30 feet of booth space with them- Pronghorn Productions TV , Hunting Beast (Dan Infalt's new site). Roscoby Riser Cam will also be there with us.

If anyone from here is in attendance you should stop by. This seems like it is going to be more like a party than an exhibit.

Seems like I always have to work whenever anything fun happens! Maybe next year- if anyone is going definitely stop and say hi to Louis and Stealth Outdoors!

That does sound like a good time! May have to see if the ferry is crossing Lake Michigan yet...that would make the trip more doable...take a bunch of time off the trip

That ferry ride ranks near the top of my list more boring things that I've ever done in my life. Took 4 hours to get across that lake. If you came across on the ferry and got to WI in Manitiwoc (just south of Green Bay), you're still going to have a 2 1/2 hr drive to Madison.

I can't wait to head south on Saturday.... I'll be sure to take lots of pics. cheers

Barb, It's a pretty good sized show. Like any show, there's some dumb trinkett stuff but the good things there outweigh the bad. I've heard it doesn't compare to Iowa, who's show I've never been to, but I was impressed with the WI last year. Last I heard was, they're expecting 400+ shoulder mounts / racks to be on display plus whatever is in various vendor booths. Last year I left the show mid afternoon on Saturday and there were another 100 mounts or so being scored / waiting to be displayed. I'll be down late afternoon on Saturday and am staying till the show closes on Sunday so the trophy display area should be packed. cheers

Only thing I don't like, is the location. The facilities are good, but a more central location in the state would be better. 95% of the deer there will be from the southern portion of the state and I'll bet there's under 10 mounts / racks there from the west central part of the state which has the best hunting in the state. I just think a central location in the state would bring in more trophies from all parts of the state instead of it being so unproportional. Take Iowa for example- the show is in Des Moines, smack dab in the middle of the state and they get a ton of huge deer from all over. WI also has several smaller Deer / Turkey / Ice fishing shows in late January / early February that a lot of people go to and they usually aren't too good. I just think if some of those smaller shows would get eliminated there could / would be more build up for the bigger show and the turn out would be better.

I'm going with my buddy who shot that big 9pt in mid September and his shoulder mount will be making the trip as well. There are some other locals / guys from the area going down that I'm sure I'll run into as well at some point. The college chicks love me Jon, but they're just after my body and my money.... cheers

Hmmm, a matter of perspective I believe. Time was, a bunch of wild wahoos from Michigan took the ferry to the land of Wisconsin. That four hour boat ride back was awesome, wouldn't trade it for anything. Really rough seas, my buddies and I kept falling down for some reason. Might have had something to do with the age 21 versus 18 difference between the two states at the time. Also got a little worried when we arrived at the Michigan docks, but everything was in all the huge coolers we took. Lots of leftovers for future endeavors, a bonus! Cool Very Happy
