105....... Those deer are drying up and turning in to dust! It's amazing how adaptive they are. I bet their close to water. Embarassed

You have my permission to slap the first person that says, "it's not the heat, it's the humidity"... so far as I'm concerned, hot is hot... Laughing

That is to darn hot for anything. I talked to XT today on the phone, to set up some plans on going down there to do some hog hunting with him in about a month. And he said a cold front moved in and it's only 93 today. lol!

The temp here is 102 and above everyday just about with a humidity of 90 percent or so. Its just down right miserable. Its even hot in the shade. Harry and I are planning a hog hunt and I am excited about it. I have about 800lbs of corn that I will start putting out today next to some water holes. We will probably hunt stands over corn in the morning and evening and maybe walk the waters edge mid morning while its still cool(mid to upper 80'S).

WOW ITS BEEN A FEW DAYS... My luck is so bad if I bought a graveyard people would just quit dieing. My house almost burned down due to an electrical short. I had to spend 600 bucks and build a new meter loop and rewire most of my house. Then my water meter actualy busted and they took several days fixing it. I had to pay 200 bucks for the new meter. We were without water for almost a week. Then we didnt get to work for almost 4 weeks. then if that were not bad enough my best bro Harry comes down to within 60 minutes of my house and we cant get together because of scheduling problems. I put out my feeders and cameras and 2 feeders wont work and one camera. I take them home and i cant find anything wrong with them. They work just fine at home. but in the field they wont. Im ready for some cooler weather.

Went down to my lease and did some mowing and discing. we planted another 400 ponds of seeds. the first planting is doing well. my trail cams are not getting much action just hogs and does and of coarse about a dozen coons. thinking of sitting on them this afternoon and maybe pokin a hole in a couple of coons. i go back in the hospital friday. I have an infection in my liver and my galbladder isnt functioning correctly. We gotta get the infection out before they can fix the galbladder.
