Going floating this weeking

Friday I'm head to Jacks Fork, in Missouri for the weekend to go canoeing with some friends. Never been before so i have no clue what im in for. All I know is Im gonna drink lotsa Booze

...It's a lot like the Rifle River in Michigan. If there's been a lot of rain, it's a riot. If there's been a number of rain free days, there are spots where you will have to get out of your canoe and walk.
It's also a National Park. They patrol it and watch out in particular for those that are too well oiled! Razz

I would think that area has had enought rain, where you won't be doing to much pushing
Make sure you tie that cooler down good and tight, And be carefull Wink

Make sure you pack your camera and cell phone in a waterproof container, you sure to tip the canoe a time or two, especially if you have a beer or two to many Very Happy

Im alive so I guess it Went good I didnt take my camera. Wish I would have. Never flipped once, came close though. The water was freezing cold. Rained on in the morning but didnt stop us from having a good time

Going Mid-Night Canoeing this coming Saturday couple beers and some good friend make for a goodtime. As long and the moon is out. Glad you had fun on your trip.
