Have you killed more deer in the morning or in the evening?

The last time i killed a deer in the morning was 4 years ago. I have killed most of my deer in the evening.

Afternoon hunts have always been more productive for us-

Evening for me. I have shot quite a few both times of the day. Just a few more in the evening

Although I haven't put too many down... it really depends on the time of the year for me. I see a lot of sightings in the afternoon during early/bow season. After the weather really cools down, early mornings are great. Especially with snow on the ground!

Bow season is evening and gun season is 50/50.

I've shot more deer in the afternoon and evening over the years. In general it seems like I see more deer in the evenings but bigger bucks in the mornings.

well i am about even...but alot have come between the hours 10 pm and 2 am....

Most of the land we have access to is thick and nasty. I'd say 50/50 but seems like I see the big boys more often in the morning.

I have shot more deer of an evening, but i have not shot a buck in the evening. Everyone of my bucks have been shot between the hours of 730am and noon. With that being said a few years ago i did miss a 150 class 8pt right at last light. For me the bucks just arent up and moving in the evenings like they are in the mornings.

Afternoons for me... I've killed some deer in the mornings but not near as many as the afternoon.

Mornings here...

50/50 here. Most of my best bucks though were in the morning.

I would say 50/50 as well with most of my bucks being in the morning.
