Jeff's Digital Daily Journal
Wow, new places new things... Welcome to my Digital Daily Journal; well it may not be a daily thing but a whenever I can find time thing. But thanks for being interested in me and my excursions. I will be adding info a little at a time, hunting, trail cams, stand setups, photography and videography tips as well, stay tuned as things will get interesting. I had a huge journal setup on another site and they deleted it so hopefully mine will stay here for some time as it takes alot of dedication to keep this going... If you have any questions don't hesitate to contact me and if you have a concern about something I write, or post, please take the time to ask me to clarify, and don't misconstrue what I may or may not be saying (typing)! I look forward to enjoying your journals as well! See you soon!!!

Hey Jeff. Welcome to the site! You'll find a whole bunch of avid outdoors people here that drink up this kind of stuff like a sponge. Rest assured that nothing will simply be deleted here (god willing, forumotion.com won't go bust!). We're here because we are passionate about what we do!
Re: Jeff's Digital Daily Journal
Well, started the year off a little late cuz my hunting, filming and business partner Jared and I have different work hours and days off so it has been a little tough getting together, but last week we managed to sneek off and hang some cameras, clear some stand sites and scout some prospective ground. We have so many acres and farms to hunt (approx 5 farms and approx 2,000 to 2500 acres) that it is really hard to get to all of it plus the cost of cameras is outrageous that we are still adding to our collection. This year we are trying Leaf River and Moultrie cams, would like to go to Reconyx cams but can't justify the costs especially when we need about ten more cameras. This year we are shooting with a Sony PD-170 as I cannot find the specific camera I am looking for and I refuse to give Canon another chance, after four years of bad luck with Canons it is hard to even think about going back to them. I want a true HD cam 1080P not 1080I, good in low light, interchangable lenses, tape and memory stick and has to be a JVC or Sony or maybe Panasonic so we will make due with the PD-170 for now. Rick White from Hunter Specialties has a Sony DSR-400 that has a $18,000 lens on it for sale for $4000.00 but I am not sure I want to spend that kind of money on a non HD cam. I am also in need of more lader stands, right now we have approx 5 double sets and around ten or fifteen sites that we can use are summiit climbers, we also have 5 ground blinds to setup but we are going to wait a while to set them up. Hopefully I can get some pictures and video posted here soon, going to be a busy week with the wake and funeral for Jackie's uncle so we will take one day at a time. See ya soon,
P.S. Thanks for all of the warm welcome's... Barb, PJ, G3 (don't remember your first name, sorry!!!) it is god to talk to all of you again, was getting a little tired at the other site, thanks for the recommendations. Thanks for the welcome from the others, hope to get to know you all sooon.
