Opening day of public hunting in IL southern zone

This is a picture of the opening day crew at carlyle lake in southern illinois. It was tough this year with the weather conditions we had that day, it was foggy and raining most of the morning and the birds werent necessarily cooperating but we made due! We managed to scratch out our fair share and had a few good laughs.

Yeah it gets a little crazy on opening day... I've witnessed my fair share of scuffles lol. Sometimes hunters can be their own worst enemies, kinda crazy.

Shoot it was so foggy that morning it wasnt even funny, you would be lucky if a duck could see you from 30 yards... and it would be dead already!!! I dont like to wear that paint when it rains either. That stuff gets in your eyes and you talk about a mess! Plus im no duck commander wanna-be... Im the FlockRockr'! LOL

that is a sweet pic man!!! Hunting with a good group of guys makes it fun no matter how many you kill!
