Another old buck
Have been following this buck for yrs, have a couple sets of sheds, many cam pictures, a couple good encounters with him in 07. I actually haven't seen him since last Nov., no sheds, no pics. He showed up on a cam a week ago. Not as tall as he once was but big and massy!

Re: Another old buck
Barb, it's been trying. I've got a pile of mature bucks on camera in the dark, very little daylight activity or signs of rutting yet even. I've also been partnered 1/2 the days I have to hunt with my oldest son while his mom is at work.Having a 5 yr old along on his school days makes getting into bow range tough. Have had some opportunities but none on something I want to put my tag on. Haven't even killed my doe yet.

Re: Another old buck
Here's 2 sets. The older looking set is actually more recent except I never found them and stumbled on them last spring after they'd been on the ground for 2 yrs. I never found either of his last sets...big woods, lots of places to shed them.

Here he is after the season in 07 on a pile of bales I tossed out to help them with winter.

Last yr on a scrape.

He's for sure 8 1/2 more likely 9 1/2 and fantastic for his age, score or not!
